1. How is the life of sweatshop workers in L.A. the same as those in Indonesia? How is it different?

The way it is the same in Indonesia is that they both work more hours and make less amount of money. Also they both suffer from the jobs that they have.Also they are not able to spend time with their kids or family as much as they are supposed to do. The difference they have is that in L.A you have a house of your own and in Indonesia you have to share with other people.

2. Why is it that poor immigrants (newcomers) end up working at sweatshops? Why don’t they work as lawyers or doctors or at Mcdonalds? They don't have enough to be there or they don't have the right education to afford it.

3. Predict what’s going to happen by the end of this movie

Probably they are going to make a parade saying that we deserve better and need to pay a better amount and go into debate with them.

1. How much do Nike workers make in Indonesia each day? How many hours a day do they work?
THe workers make 1.25$ they work for 15 hours 7 days a week.



2. What is life like for Indonesian Nike workers at home?
Life is very bad over there because some people have live in boxes and they have bad shelter. They do not have a lot of food.



3. Why won’t Nike talk to Jim or Leslie or let them visit the shoe factory?

They dont want to talk to them because they know if Jim and Leslie find out what they are doing to the people the will put it out in puplick.

To have a decent living you would need food,home,car, and a job. I would be able to afford food cloths and rent.
